Hold the card while you prep the boat on the staging area and tick off each step as you finish it.
The open boxes can be marked as you work through your checklist. Permanent marker can generally be removed from the metal surface with rubbing alcohol. Marker left on for an extended period, particularly after heat or sun exposure, may require additional cleaning and may be more difficult to remove. Test your marker and cleaning method on a small area first.

Can I change the launch or retrieval steps?
Yes. Choose “Personalize or modify this design” and tell us what to change on the launch side, the retrieval side, or both. You can add, remove, rewrite or reorder steps. We email a proof for your approval before engraving.
Will this checklist cover everything for my boat?
Not necessarily. The checklist shown is a general example and may not include every step required for your boat, trailer, tow vehicle, launch ramp, or situation. Always follow the instructions and safety procedures for your boat, trailer, and equipment, and the rules posted at the ramp. Customize the checklist to match your own boat and routine.
My boat has a different setup. Can the card match it?
Yes. Every boat and trailer is a little different, whether you have an outboard or an outdrive, a roller or bunk trailer, or your own way of handling lines. Tell us the steps you actually follow and we will lay them out on the card for you to approve.
Do I get a proof if I order it exactly as shown?
No proof is needed. We engrave the design shown on this page. If you ask for any changes, we email a proof first.
Can I order a completely different checklist?
Yes. In the order form, choose “I have my own checklist / information” to continue to our custom order form, where you can describe or upload your own design for either side.
